EVERY NIGHT (CD/LP)
Polyvinyl Records, September 14, 2004

The ‘difficult’ third album, recorded during the harsh, wintery end of 2003 by Warn DeFever and Fred at Brown Rice Studio when it was above C Pop in Detroit. The LP and CD have the same songs, but some of them are different versions, mixes, vocal takes, vocalists, etc. Everyone asks “Which version is better?” and it just depends. The vinyl version was made to be more scrappy and rough around the sonic edges. The CD version is a bit more subdued.

Until The World Stops Spinning
Keep Walking
All Over Town
The Girl's Distracted
If You Ask
Empty Room
When The Party Ends

ALL YOUR SUMMER SONGS (CD/LP)
Polyvinyl Records, March 18, 2003

A patchwork of recordings made in transit across the United States over a two year period from 2000-2002, this album was meticulously arranged and produced, and still stands as a one of our most beautiful, glowing offerings to the world.

The vinyl version was originally pressed with different cover art on clear wax in an edition of 1,100. Later it was re-released with the same artwork as the CD, this time on 180 gram vinyl, and the first 500 came with a bonus 7” of “Christmas Blues” and “Will U Still?”. All versions of the vinyl had two bonus songs not on the CD, “Can’t Ever Sleep” and “Light Bulb Heart”.

SATURDAY LOOKS GOOD TO ME (CD)
Ypsilanti Records, Feb 2, 2002

This CD re-issued the original self-titled LP, included some songs from the "Cruel August Moon" CDR and a couple extra, newer songs. Some song titles were changed to eliminate the poorly conceived "First-Person" concept that ran throughout the LP.

A Feminine Ending/MARK YAKICH

The body of work had such a limerick kind of beauty,
a way of making friendship satisfactory.
One time, with a piece of seaweed that the body
of work had worn as a cummerbund to the prom,
I saw it walking in Central Park with five dogs
on leashes. I knew my sister would have been envious,
amid all of autumn's leaves, so
I didn't bother to say "Hi there, deary."
After dinner, I mostly lay in my bed, like Gogol,
and wrote about the body of work. Expressive,
like the dirt-filled fingernails of my sailor's
wave, I soon grew breasts, sores on my belly.
I needed to cathect my childhood urges
on a new object. But before I had
chance to find a new body of work,
I had some chores to do. In the stable,
I fell through a crack and a horse
sneezed back at me, "Stay in Hollywood a little longer,
Madam Schwitters, you'll be able to act soon.
I mean, look at me, I've not gotten close
enough to find out whether the war
in Europe and those cute little tin can finger
sandwiches can sustain life. Besides, Lady
Godiva ate her horse, which wasn't made of
white chocolate and, I'll have you know,
she didn't even have to chase it."
